This will be my third collaboration with Joe Patitucci of PlantWave, and still, I can’t fully explain what happens when we meet in this space. Joe has created a technology that listens to plants, literally. His device translates the electrical impulses of flora into musical notes in real time. What you hear isn’t ambient background or electronic haze; it’s the voice of another living being, rendered as melody.

There’s no structure. No rehearsal. Only presence. I listen to what the plants are saying, sometimes with silence, sometimes with synth, sometimes with voice, and from there, we build a conversation. It’s delicate, raw, and completely unrepeatable.

For those who come, it’s not a concert. It’s a shared act of attention. You’ll hear rhythm in places you didn’t think rhythm existed. You’ll feel the room breathe. It’s a chance to witness collaboration at its most vulnerable: one artist tuning into another, even when that other has roots instead of lungs.

It’s happening in Los Angeles. One night. Fewer seats than there are questions.
